The City of New York – Central Park Police Precinct by Karlsberger
Description by Karlsberger :
Designed in 1870 by Jacob Wrey Mould in association with Calvert Vaux, original architect for Central Park structures, the Victorian Gothic Central Park Stable facility has served as a Police Precinct Station House since 1936. The project included total preservation of exterior historic and landmark envelope and expansion and renovation of interior spaces. The intent of our current work is to renovate the facility to accommodate 21st century programs and technical requirements while preserving the historic integrity of this important New York landmark.
