Sentosa Boardwalk, Singapore by Aedas
Description by Aedas :
This project is built on a new structure above the sea, abutting the existing Sentosa Bridge, with overall length of 670m, connecting from Vivocity to the upcoming Resorts World. This boardwalk is mainly to serve and link the pedestrian flow from these 2 mega commercial developments, with the built-up area of approx 16,400 sqm, finished by large area of timber deck and landscaping.
To create a more comfortable and relaxing travelling experience, travellators with shelters and canopy is provided along the entire boardwalk, bringing the visitors to different levels of height above the sea to enjoy the magnificent sea view. Large area of interesting landscape garden design (showcasing different types of regional landscapes) is created also for leisure and outdoor activities. This helps to provide natural shading and cosy environment to the visitors travelling along the boardwalk in the daytime.
To enliven the boardwalk and potentially make use of the business opportunity, restaurants and small area of retails are created at the promontory viewing platform and entance plaza. This will allow the visitors to enjoy the seaview and scenery with beautiful cusine and F&B setting.
Souvenir shops and ticketing booth are located at the entrance plaza, towards the Resorts World.
