Renaissance Golden View Beach Resort at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt by Perkins Eastman
Description from Perkins Eastman : The Renaissance Golden View Beach Resort is a new hotel on the shore of the Red Sea on the Sinai Peninsula. The 17,500 sm (188,000 sf) development includes a main building comprising three restaurants, a lounge/ bar, spa, banquet/ meeting rooms, children’s club, convenience store, owners’ lounge, retail shops, and administration facilities. Guest accommodations include 104 units for timeshare owners and 220 Renaissance Hotel guestrooms, each designed to have a view of the sea.
The site is integrated by a meandering river with cascading waterfalls, and also includes numerous swimming pools and relaxation areas. The hotel’s private landscaped beach terraces—300 meters (980 feet) of beach frontage—and sandy coves provide direct access to the reef, marine life, and corals of the Red Sea.
This project was completed under the direction of Principals of Perkins Eastman while with Basler Mosa Design Group.
